I'm so pumped for this!!!! I can't wait to NOT go!!!!

But on some real shit, I have said this before, people will always say their generation was the best. No matter what. I am a late 90's early 2000's guy and the hatred I received from the early 90's peeps is the same hatred I useto feel for the new kids. I got over it though, because I was probably that annoying kid with glossy eyes running around and stepping on folks because I was so amazed. Every generation parties dif. But if you stop and think you will be surprised at how many things we have in common with the new crowd.

Exactly! At least from my POV, I agree nothing wrong with having some fun here and there, drinking or what not, but sometimes you see people so out of it, you wonder if they even appreciate the music. They dont follow the artist or the venue, just the high.

I would give anything to have experienced the nightlife in the 90's/2000's!

Then again, who knows what it will change into next. I absolutely appreciate the music to the fullest, no rhinestone troop is gonna bother me :rofl

I feel you homie, I truly do. But the mid 90's people said the same ish, so did the late 80's folks and so on and so forth. My older brother and my cousins can't wait to tell me about how the 80's were the best but I feel like mines was the best. Your seeing thru eyes that do not like what they see. I don't like the scene right now, so I keep my ass at home. There were many people who hated my years as well. It's all a cycle. And again, we have way more in common than not, I guarantee you. Alls you have to do is talk to some of the new cats.

your right...maybe its because we used to pick and choose what clubs we wanted to go to...now everyone only has one place and maybe thats why it looks so played out...but the family vibe is gone

i still know alot of the people who go out...people are sketchy now idunno..

and it was crazier back then...but i always felt comfortable

Trust me, there were just as many if not more crackheads back in those days. In fact some clubs had special rooms they would stick em in to sober up, but that proved to be more dangerous because too many people died from not being attended to.

That I do agree, there is def. less options now than ever. It's either a hole in the wall with DJ Something Some-Illest or JP with everyone and their mother in Pacha. lol

id say the whole scene isnt about one thing, i think it just goes hand in hand. What changes is, now we only go out if we want to hear a certain dj, and for that reason mostly and to celebrate a event in our life with friends. where as for me back when i was 17/18 it was ok which place are we gonna go this week to get fucked up and listen to dance music. the music always played a part cause thats the major aspect of the whole experience, its just the order in which we worry about these things that changed i think.

Seee we're smart about it. There are people out there that ONLY go to look for drugs. They look forward to every weekend just to get fucked up. There are plenty of people who get fucked up but still love the music. You even have people that love the music and don't even get fucked up.

No no, its not hostile at all. I didnt know much about the scene back in the day, so maybe thats why I cant compare it too well. We all know people go overboard, so I guess thats who I was trying to refer to. To each their own :drinks:
