oh mannn i dont know if i can agree withya on that one. all though they did go poppy for a bit what major band hasnt. i see them as pivotal players in keeping a punkish flavor in the rock scene after punk died off

Dookie was great. But all they really did was give shitty bands like good charlotte, simple plan, fall out boy, and so many more the opportunity to strum 4 or 5 chords and call it a song and shove it down our throats through mainstream media.
