Travel Journalist so I can see the world and write about it =)
I'd like to own an all inclusive hotel on a luxurious island. That would be pretty nifty

Yahoo news had an article about "the best job in the world"- some government in Australia is promoting tourism by advertising for a job paying $100,000 to "island sit" and live on a private island in the barrier reef. Your job is to wander around the island, swim, scuba dive, enjoy yourself, and write a journal about enjoying yourself that's published on some website. I think I'd take that job.

I googled it real quick for some supporting documentation, and didn't edit what I've already written, to prove that I say things that are inaccurate: http://snagwiremedia.com/best-job-in-the-world/

Shitttttttttt...

Growing up I always wanted to be a psychologist; I loved helping all my friends with their problems and I'm a great listener and helping people is definitely something I'd love to do. I also feel like that career would give one so much perspective, one would understand the world so much more.

Once I took high school chemistry I became really passionate about the science and decided that's where my life's path was going to lead. I took three full years of chem in high school, went on to honors courses in a university renowned for its sciences, and was loving it. After a couple years in school I decided that with my skills and my goals a career in law would be more suitable, and that's the path I'm on now.

It's a tough choice. On the one hand being a psychologist would be so interesting, but I think it might get frustrating and even create cynicism after a while. Chemistry is also amazingly interesting; it helps to understand the way the world works which is something that's very appealing to me, and as long as our technology and lifestyle is not at a standstill it will be an ever growing and increasingly important field of science. And in chemistry is the possibility to change the world on a very large scale, sensational level. Also, chemists tend to be very happy with their careers, every one that I know loves it, and the lessened career stress helps to lead a long and happy life (i.e. my grandpa who is almost 80, very healthy, very active, and always very busy.)

And then law is kind of more about me. About what I can do, and how I can be the best, and get the most stuff done. Yea, it's about helping people too, but often on a much less personal level than psychology or some such. It is noble to some degree, but I don't know if the average lawyer sees him/herself as protecting the Constitution, standing up for the common man, all that stuff.

I feel that while chemistry would be so cool I definitely want a career that is more social, allows for more interaction with other people. I think that maybe after establishing myself as a lawyer I'd like to become a judge, state supreme court being the most attractive option to me at this time. It's a pretty important and relatively relaxed career. You have a good amount of control over when and how you work, and you are relieved of the responsibility of having a client as a lawyer would; your only responsibility is to the law. I understand that politics come into play here, but allowing for individual interpretations the law is, plainly, the law. I have a very fair and unbiased nature, and I feel that I would be very effective in such a position.

Overall it is too hard for me to say what I'd most prefer to do, but the above is how I feel about the several different options that I've considered.

You're all over the place Nick.. just like me. lol
My dream job seems to change every other month. It all comes back to working for myself though. Multi-million dollar companies usually piss me off. They could care less about your life. Therefore one my goals is just working for myself and helping others while doing so. I like being creative and the big places doesn't let me expand my creative side neither do they really care what I have to say.
