What is your favorite beach?

A little town called Ocean Grove. I absolutley love it....so charming. However I do like 10 minutes from Long Beach Island so that would be my second choice.

Last summer, I went to Long Beach, in Long Island... amazing beach. Different atmosphere, good sand, good water.

This is an older thread but now we're approaching the summer so i'm gonna put my two cents in abour my favorite beach in NJ. Id have to say its Wildwood. Water is great (just dont go too late in the summer otherwise youll be swimming with seaweed). Wildwood is great because the boardwalk is OK and the beach itself is just great. If you feel like you wanna escape to somewhere with an older crowd you can head right over to Cape may, which is literally ten mins away.

Wildwood has an amazing beach but the people there are strung out.

I got attacked by some retarded drunk teenager once in Wildwood. He came up to me with glassy muppet eyes and I shit you not he said something like, "Me want cookie!" Or at least that's how I understood it because I don't speak drunkenese. Retarded teenagers aside though, the beach itself is nice and so is the water. Like I said, if yer an old fart like myself and you wanna keep apart from the youngins and their MTV beach-houseness you can take a hop skip and a jump to Cape May.
