I know not all of you have been active in a messageboard community before so heres some general stuff to spice up your time.
You have a user control panel at top . In there u can change your avatar(small picture under your name on each post u make) your signature(i.e text, small picture, animated file, etc under each post u make, kinda like a bumper sticker for your self) your profile(aim name, websites liek your myspace, facebook, etc)
Also on each topic if you want to respond to something someone said, on the right end of their post is a quote button. click that and it will shortcut you to respond regarding them in your response.
Smileys: just like aim there little emoticons that spice up your post. Many more will be comign soon.
Topic icons: when posting a new topic u can kinda mark your topic in diff ways liek urgent or an arrow or a star to make it stand out and attract more answers.
