bro... I learned my lesson with this stuff. My brother has managed to make 3 HDD fail in 1 year. I back up all my stuff on an external 1TB HDD.
You should do the same if you really care about your data.

Thankfully I did actually save all my pictures. Uploaded tons of gigs worth of pictures to my host here so now I have an online backup of it all. As for the music, that's all on my ipod anyway. I just HATE how unorganized the ipod makes all the music. I use to have everything organized by Genre > Release Year > Month but that went to shit when my other harddrive failed and had to receover from ipod.

WHY DO HARDDRIVES HATE ME?!!!!! They make them cheap because they still SUCK. I could care less about how much space I can hold on it if it can't last longer then a damn year. I just bought this laptop about 2 months.

so I got my laptop back BUT they fucked up of course
I have two harddrives on the laptop.. 80gig and a 120gig.. the 80gig which had windows failed and stopped loading. when I sent it in, they saw the 120gig working fine and figured windows was just missing so they installed the windows on the 120gig and forgot about the 80gig all together. stupid shits. ill send it in when i get a backup laptop. so now i can finally do some serious work around here
