Do you consider yourself a fashionista?

In other words do you love fashion and are always buying new clothes? Weather it would be shoes, Shades, Bedazzled shirts *for those that like the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier clothing*.

I like to dress Comfortable especially if i know i will be going out to a dance club; maybe some sneakers and some jeans. For other occasions i like to just put on a nice INC shirt and some nice shoes that i never wear.

The reason i made this thread is because there was some debate between me and two of my boys about clothing and spending so much money on clothes. One of them goes:

I buy stuff for the name " i looked at him like he had 4 eyes" He said that he started to notice that the girls he talks to are noticing the name brand clothing more so he buys stuff for that reason. I just shook my head in disappointment lol

Is this what the world is coming to? Where people try to impress others with materialistic things instead of being themselves and being liked for that?

yes i buy name brand clothing... 1, because it fits well, it's all about the cut... 2, because it's good quality. i rather buy one thing that fits great and looks great than a bunch of SHIT that i'll throw out after wearing one time cuz it fuckin fades in the wash, stretches and rips. clothes are supposed to compliment you. i don't follow the fashion that much, just know clothes and what looks good.

I don't think that being an Fashionista requires you to spend oddles and oddles of cash on designer clothes. I think being a fashionista means dressing well for your body and being confident in what you wear. Have style and have class and you can do that at any price point!!!
