Having same problems with avatar. One says it's too large and the other error message for another avatar says it don't accept .bmp, why am I the only one always bitching about this? Is it my fault that I have super terrific avatars and sigs that require more space and dif. file extensions?

Ok BMP files I can't do. It sucks up too much memory on our host then the whole thing comes down. Most boards don't accept BMP files because of this. It isn't hard to open your picture in Microsoft PAINT and just just SAVE AS GIF or JPG. The board automatically resizes pictures but it cannot resize BMP files. Try using the TOO LARGE image on another board and tell me if it works there. Chances are your images are out of the norm for most boards. We don't want to see huge pictures on every single thread/post which takes forever to load so be courteous to others when selecting a size.

I put 600 width x 400 height but let me know if this doesnt work for you. I tried an image and it worked on my side but who knows.
